We can think of many ways to cope, some healthier than others. For me and my sassy counterparts, grabbing some washi tape, paint brushes, and colored foam pieces is usually a safe option.
Crafting takes us to new and old worlds.
Sometimes, crafts are random and abstract – as Sassy Bro likes to say. Other times, we stamp memories and turn them into concrete mementos that bring our memories to life. Enter our favorite attractions and the miles it takes us to get to them.
We took wood pieces, screwed together a simple base and then cut out six arrows – one to represent each of our favorite Disneyland rides. Spray paint spiced it up and we were sure to keep our colors coordinating.
We calculated the mileage to each of our favorites at both Disneyland and California Adventure and then matched fonts in our cutting software. Then, we cut the names and miles out with vinyl and adhered them to each arrow. We couldn’t be happier with the final product.
