Today’s lesson isn’t easy, but may be the most important. Accept.

“If you come to a fork in the road, take it.”

~Yogi Berra

It may go without saying, but whether you like both choices or not, you need to take one and move forward. Throughout the past nine months, and even more in the last four, it has become increasingly difficult to stay focused on the path that we chose without thinking about what could have been on the other path.

Was it worth not having any social interaction? Will we be able to rebound from the emotional stress? How much longer can we take this on without it taking a toll? Would we stay safe and healthy if we choose to not limit interactions?

The. Struggle. Is. Real.

And the decisions and considerations haven’t settled with me, even after all of this time.

Today, we will stop second guessing and accept the path we are on: the good, the bad, the ugly, and the sassy. The longer we consider what we’re missing down that other path, the longer we’re missing what’s right under our nose. The longer we ignore our own confidence about what we’re doing, the longer we feel heartache that we caused to ourselves.

Today, we accept our currently reality. We stopped worrying about the past and the future and dug into this whipped cream for breakfast. And, that made our sassy little hearts happy.
