It’s a decent day in the neighborhood.
- We didn’t turn on the tv for most of the day.
- Jeffey, the family puppet, learned to play board games.
- Sassy friends went on a simulated trip Disneyland, packed suitcases and got autographs.
- One room got cleaned.
- Previously mentioned room got rampaged.
- Someone changed clothes four times.
- Someone stood on the table “to see better”…
- We still have food and tears were short-lived.
Officially survived the sass for three consecutive days. Fingers crossed we can get outdoors soon.
In adult news, the pandemic has spread across the country and literally every public place is shuttering doors. Grocery shelves are bare and large cities are blacking our. Schools may be closed for weeks and times are rapidly changing. Never in my lifetime did I imagine experiencing this sort of scenario. It’s pure nuttiness and quiet all at once. The world is reaching to act on a dime, while families sit at home – gathered together playing games, making meals, connecting and holding on tight.
In a matter of weeks, our sarcasm will be more sophisticated, we’ll have several Sassy Bro-written drafts to send to children’s book editors, and we will used all of the nail polish and glitter on the south side of town. Bring on day 4.
