Day 5 was rainy, but we managed to have a full simulation of Disneyland rides and didn’t eat all of the snacks. Win.
Day 6 is where the shift happened. We made the most of the sun and walked the neighborhood. We saw a few other walkers, at a distance, and decided to leave chalk messages in front of houses as we passed. The house a few doors down got “be brave”…this kid chose the right words for the right moment.
Having order is a necessity of mine.
The unknown creates stress.
Endless hours are spent on my children and yours.
Some children, probably mine, drank six gatorades.
The questions are endless as we have been halted for weeks.
The goldfish are almost empty.
The skills I use with your children somehow aren’t always successful with mine.
I will be out of fruit snacks by tomorrow.
The satire in our lives is both a distraction and a joy.
